Audio Not Working
- Right Click My Computer
- Select Manage
- Under System Tools|Device Manager
- To the right pane, scroll to Sound, video, and game controllers
- Right click SoundMax Integrated Digital HD Audio (Could be different depending on your computer)
- Select Uninstall
- Click Yes when ask Disabling this device will cause it to stop functioning. Do you really want to disable it?
- Restart the computer
- After the computer restart and log in, the computer should reinstall SoundMax Integrated Digital HD Audio devices
- Test out your audio
If the above solution does not work, try reinstalling the driver or turn off the speaker and back on.
If the above method is not working, try the following
The Sounds and Audio Devices Properties shows No Audio Device
1. Click Start> Run > type services.msc > ClickOK
2. Scroll down to Windows Audio. Notice that Windows Audio is disabled. Select and right-click and select Properties
3. Click drop-down and select Automatic. Then click Apply
4. Click Start
5. Notice the SoundMax HD Audio
