AutoRecover in Word 2007
AutoRecover is a feature that automatically save your document every preset time. The default is 10 minutes. Why is this a great feature? Well for one I am sure we all had this happen to us before. While you were typing all of a sudden your computer crashed or freezes causing you to do a hard shutdown, but you have not saved your document yet. With AutoRecover, it will automatically save your document every 10 minutes by default. I recommend saving it in less then 10 minutes because in a 10 minutes span you could have type a lot of stuff before it automatically saved.
1. Click Microsoft Office logo as show and click Word Options
2. On the left pane, click Save
