Creating an Alias
1. Open Active Directory Users and Computers
2. Locate the target user account and right click and select Properties
2. Locate the target user account and right click and select Properties
4. Click Email Addresses tab
5. Click New button

6. Select SMTP Address
7. Click OK

7. Enter the new email address
8. Click Apply
9. Click OK

10. The new e-mail address appear in the email box
11. Click Apply
12. Click OK
NOTE: The bold SMTP email address is the primary email address that the recipients see. The regular type email address is the alias also known as Secondary email address. When sender(s) send the email to the secondary address, you will get the email. Any email that is send to the email in the E-mail addresses box will go to the primary email.
