Decreasing Image Printing time
If your printer is taken a long time to print an image, it is due to the print quality of the image. If the image is a high resolution image, it will take longer than usual because of the dot per pixel. If image quality does not have to be great, you can change a setting on your printer to decrease the time it takes to print. Below are instruction base on printer model.
HP LaserJet 6P
HP LaserJet 1320/2015/2420
HP LaserJet 2100M
HP LaserJet 6P
- Click Start
- Select Printers and Faxes
- Or Settings and select Printers and Faxes
- Right-click the printer that you want to use to print
- Select Properties
- Click Advance tab
- Click Printing Defaults
- In Layout tab, click Advanced
- In Graphic area, click the drop-down arrow to select a lower quality (like 300 x 300 dots per inch)
- Click OK
- Close all printer related screen by click OK
HP LaserJet 1320/2015/2420
- Click Start
- Select Printers and Faxes
- Or Settings and select Printers and Faxes
- Right-click the printer that you want to use to print
- Select Properties
- Click Paper/Quality tab
- In Print Quality, click the drop-down and choose 600 dpi
- Click Apply
- Click OK
- Close all printer related screen by click OK
HP LaserJet 2100M
- Click Start
- Select Printers and Faxes
- Or Settings and select Printers and Faxes
- Right-click the printer that you want to use to print
- Select Properties
- In Finishing tab, Click Details
- In Resoltuion, click the drop-down and choose 600 dpi
- Click OK
- Close all printer related screen by click OK
