Enabled, Disabled, Not Configured System Restore in Group Policy
1. Click Start > Run > Type GPEDIT.MSC
2. Expand Administrative Templates under Computer Configuration
3. Expand System
4. Select System Restore
5. Double click Turn off System Restore (to the right)

5. Double click Turn off System Restore (to the right)
6. In Turn Off System Restore Properties dialog box, select Enabled, Disabled, or Not Configured
7. Click OK
8. Go to My Computer Properties (Right click My Computer > Properties
9. If you enabled, you will not see the System Restore tab
10. If you disabled, you will see the System Restore tab, but the Turn off System Restore is grey out.
11. If you not configured, you will see the System Restore tab, and the Turn off System Restore is active.
7. Click OK
8. Go to My Computer Properties (Right click My Computer > Properties
9. If you enabled, you will not see the System Restore tab
10. If you disabled, you will see the System Restore tab, but the Turn off System Restore is grey out.
11. If you not configured, you will see the System Restore tab, and the Turn off System Restore is active.
