How to disable System Restore in XP/Windows 7
Windows XP
1. Right-click My Computer and select Properties
2. Click System Restore tab and check Turn Off System Restore
3. Click Apply
2. Click System Restore tab and check Turn Off System Restore
3. Click Apply
Warning: If you click YES it will delete all previous restore point. If you turn it back on, the restore point does not restore back.
4. Read the message and click Yes or No if you decide not to turn off System restore.
5. Click Ok and exit out of the My Computer Properties

3. Click System Protection tab and click Configure
4. Select Turn off system protection and click Apply
