Mapped Network Drive
- Click Computer
- In Computer windows, click Map network drive
3. Click the drop down arrow in the Drive drop down to select the drive letter.
4. Type in the path or click browse to the location you want to mapped.
5. The Reconnect at logon is check by default. If that is not check, you would have to remapped the network drive every time you logon.
6. Connect using different credential is not check.
7. If you map a drive to a computer using Windows Vista or Windows XP, you might also need to connect using an user account defined on that computer. In this case, check the box that says Connect using different credential

8. Depending on the credential that you use to logon, you might be ask to provide a credential to mapped the drive on the network. If you want you can check Remember my credentials but I would not recommend it for security purpose. This only required if you have limited permission.
9. Select the shared folder that you want to mapped to and click OK
10. Notice in the Folder: area, the path of the mapped folder is shown. Click Finish
11. The mapped drive will appear in Computer
