Microsoft Word 2007 Open with Las Vegas Light Text Effect
The las Vegas Light text effect is a feature available prior to Microsoft Office 2007. So if you open a document that has the las Vegas text effect it will display the Las Vegas Light, but you can't create one in Word 2007 as the feature have been remove. If you are running into situation where you open a blank document, the what ever you type the Las Vegas text affect is surrounding the text even though the feature is not available in Word 2007. Here is what you do to get rid of it.
1. Notice the picture show above the Las Vegas light.
2. Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates.
NOTE: Replace the Administrator with the user account that you log into. Make sure Microsoft Word is close before you do this.
3. Right click Normal.dotm and select Rename. You can rename it to anything you want like OldNormal.dotm

4. Notice the name is change. Now open Microsoft Word
5. Notice that a new Normal.dotm is created
