Setting Browser as Default
Microsoft Internet Explorer
- Click Tools menu
- Select Internet Options
- Click Programs tab
- Under Default Web Browser, Click Make Default button
- If the button is gray out, that mean the browser is already a default browser
Mozilla Firefox
- Click Tools menu
- Select Options
- Click Advanced tab
- Click General tab (if not already in General tab)
- Under System Defaults, click Check Now button
- Default Browser dialog appear asking if you want to make Mozilla Firefox the default
- Click Yes to make Firefox the default browser
Google Chrome
- Click the Wrench Icon (Upper Right)
- Select Options
- Click Basics tab
- In the Default Browser area, click Make Google Chrome my default browser button
Apple Safari
- Click Round Wheel (Upper Right)
- Select Preferences
- Click General tab
- In Default web browser area, click the drop-down list
- Select Safari web browser
Opera
- Click Tools menu
- Select Preferences
- Click Advanced tab
- Click Programs in the left hand side
- Check Check if Opera is default browser on startup
