System Restore
Windows XP:
Windows Vista:
Windows 7:
- Click Start > Programs or All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore
- In System Restore Welcome Screen, make sure Restore my computer to an earlier time is selected
- Click Next
- In Select a Restore Point screen, select a date
- To the right of the Calendar it should list the activities that was done on that date
- Click Next
- Confirm the restore point on the next screen
- Click Next
- Wait and let the computer do the restore
- After the restore, the computer will reboot
- After reboot when your computer is log in, you will get a screen showing the restore point summary
- Click OK
Windows Vista:
- In Vista's Start menu search box, type system restore
- Click System Restore when appear in the search menu
- Click Continue on the User Account Control warning
- Click Choose a Different Restore Point
- Click Next
- On the Choose A Restore Point screen, click Show Restore Points
- Locate the System Restore point you want to roll back the system to
- Select the Restore Point
- Click Next
- Click Finish
- The system will restore itself and reboot
Windows 7:
- In Windows 7 Start menu search box, type system restore
- Click System Restore when appear in the search menu
- System Restore screen appear, click Next
- Select a restore point on the list
- To see more restore point, check Shoe more restore point
- Click Next
- In Confirm your restore point screen, click Finish
- The system will restore itself and reboot
