Ways to Speed Up your Computer
- Free up disk space

Free Up Disk Space
- Go to C Drive
- Right Click on C drive>Select Properties
- In the General Tab>Click Disk Cleanup
- Wait for it to finish scanning
- After the scan, the disk cleanup dialogue appear with a list of file to delete
- Check the box of the file that you want to delete
- Click OK
- Click OK when prompt to confirm
Speed Up Access to Data
- Go to C Drive
- Right Click on C drive>Select Properties
- In the Tools Tab>Click Defragment Now
- Disk Defragmenter dialogue appear
- You can click analyze button to analyze to see if your hard drive need to be defragment
- Or click the Defragment button and it will analyze and defrag
- Wait for the defrag to finish.
- Depending on how fragmented your hard drive is, the size of your hard drive or how many hard drive you are defraging it could take hours.
- When the defragmentation is complete, it should show the result of the defragmentation
*If you get a message saying that you do not have sufficient free disk space to defrag, just do it anyway
*You do not have to use windows defragmentation, you can use a third party program to defrag. Check out some of the free disk fragmentation programs that could be better.

- Check Disk Local Disk dialogue should appear
- Check Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors or Automatically fix file system errors or Both
