How to Map Network Drive
- Click My Computer
- Click Tools menu and select Mapped Network Drive
3. Click the Drive drop down arrow to select a drive letter and click Browse. If you know the exact path you can enter it in the Folder field. Example: \\johnd\installs
4. Navigate to the folder that you want to mapped to.
5. Notice that in the Folder: area, it show the path to the folder that was mapped to. The check box Reconnect at logon is check so that every time you log on, the computer establish a connection with the server or computer to mapped the mapped drive. Click Finish
6. Notice the mapped drive
Disconnect Network Drive
- Right click on the drive that you want to disconnect
- Select Disconnect
- The drive should disappear
